There were 3 bargaining sessions held in the month of June.

Due to the summer and difficultly scheduling we will break until the fall.

Hey all, unfortunately the meeting had to be rescheduled.
It was converted into an Executive Board Meeting instead.
The next Membership Meeting is now July 16, 2015 @ 1PM.

Unfortunately we cannot schedule our meetings at a time where everyone can attend. Our last meeting was during the evening so in the spirit of fairness this one is scheduled during the day.

An Election is being held for the positions of Vice-President, Secretary-Treasurer and a Trustee.

By-Elections will also be held for the position of Chairperson of the Grievance Committee which is still vacant and the Chairperson of the Health and Safety Committee as Charlie will be retiring soon.

We hope to see everyone there and we look forward to moving forward with our union and creating more options for everyone to get involved.

We held an Executive Board Meeting this month.

We are only bargaining once at the Y this month.

We had 3 bargaining sessions this month. 2 were held at the Y and the other one was at the CUPE Offices.

The National Day of Mourning is an annual ceremony to remember and celebrate the lives of those who have lost their lives while on the job.

We had two bargaining sessions this month, one at the Y and one at the CUPE Offices. We also had a bargaining strategy session this month.

This month we had two bargaining sessions scheduled at the YMCA. One was cancelled due to family illness so the negotiating team decided to convert the meeting into a strategy session, which was held at the CUPE Offices.

We have scheduled 2 bargaining strategy meetings this month.
